Finally seen it in-action!

After 3 day's of going back to it, we finally caught it. I have to say, I have seen alot of machines from demolition to earth moving but it was the most interesting to say the least. When we were pulling up they just started it up. I noticed after standing there they were lowering the crane that helps the boom raise so I knew we made it just in time to catch it take it first pass. After watcing it for 40 minutes, here are the pictures...!

Liebherr P996

Today we saw Great lakes Dredging's Liebherr P996 in the Bayonne Bay. It was a cool sight to see even though it was parked. When we were driving there, we were hoping it would of been in operation but it was parked for the day. I think they just ended the shift because of the dirt all over the bucket and stick. Were going back tomorrow morning at 9:30 A.M. to catch it. Please click the picture to view in full size.
